Clubs and organisations that want to book their club members or other individuals on to courses can now do this using the linked users functionality on Athletics Hub. Using this functionality individuals can be linked to another individual’s account and then that individual can book their linked users on to courses. This functionality allows multiple linked users to be booked on to multiple courses in the same transaction, making it easier for clubs to book their members on to courses online in one transaction.
Please note that to link a user to your account on Athletics Hub the individual must already have an account on Athletics Hub or the myAthletics portal, if they are a completely new user they will need to register for an account on Athletics Hub before you can link them to your account and book them on to a course.
To link a user to your account follow these steps:
- Log in to Athletics Hub
- Click on your name in the top left corner to go to your profile
- Scroll down to the 'Linkled Users' area and click 'Add+'
- Enter the first name, last name, DOB and URN of the user you want to link to your account then tick the check-box to confirm that the user has given you permission to book them on to events through Athletics Hub
- Click 'Find and link user to your AH account'
- If the user is found in our database you will see a success message confirming that the user has been linked to your account.
- If the user is not found an error message will display on screen, please double check the details you entered and try linking the user again. If the user is still not found please contact us
Once a user has been linked to your account you can search for courses as normal through the 'Qualifications & CPD' page and then use the 'Book for Others' option to book your linked users on to a course.
